Evan Loudon was born in Sydney, Australia. He received early classical training under Tanya Pearson at her Classical Training Academy in Sydney, before entering the  MacDonalds Ballet Scholarship at the Sydney Opera House where he won the Boys  Scholarship. Evan recieved a scholarship to attended the Royal Ballet School in Covent Garden from 2010-2013. He joined Scottish Ballet in 2013 and was promoted to Principal in December 2019.
